There is no airport on Koh Phi Phi. The nearest airports are Krabi Airport or Phuket Airport, and then transport from the airport to the ferry pier is required before getting a ferry to Koh Phi Phi.

As a general rule of thumb, AirAsia tend to offer the cheapest and most frequent flights between Bangkok and Phuket and Bangkok to Krabi, but it’s worth checking in case there are bargains available.
The airport code for Bangkok Airport is BKK, the airport code from Krabi Airport is KBV and the airport code for Phuket Airport is HKT.
Bangkok Airports
Please bear in mind if you are flying from Bangkok to Phuket that there are two airports in Bangkok: Suvarnabhumi (the new one) and Don Muang (the old one).
If you are flying with AirAsia, you need to fly from the new Suvarnabhumi airport.
If you are flying with Nok Air or One-Two-Go, you need to fly from Don Muang airport.
Please note this only applies to domestic flights. All international flights arrive and depart at Suvarnabhumi.
